Greetings all! When I checked the thermometer this morning it read thirty-two degrees and I noticed frost on the ground. It is only a matter of time before the white stuff start to fly! The Blue Mountain Snow Dusters are gearing up for the upcoming season. Landowner permissions are being reviewed, fall GIA paperwork has been submitted, and trail work is starting.

Our first scheduled day for trail work is Saturday October 21st. We’ll be looking to do a little maintenance on the North Hut and some clearing on the surrounding trails. Additional days will be scheduled as winter approaches. Keep an eye on our webpage for any upcoming dates.

Please join us for our regular club meetings held on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm in the lower level of the Grantham Town Hall. It is a great time to connect with other members and find out about any upcoming projects the club is trying to tackle. There are many ways to help our club keep the trails in great shape.

Let’s keep our fingers crossed that the winter forecast of a cold snowy winters holds true for the upcoming year and everyone is able to get out and enjoy the trails. Think snow!
