Greetings! Well Mother Nature has certainly given us a wild ride here in the central part of the state. We finally received a blast of New England winter. Three storms in a week totaling well over two feet of snow with temperatures cold enough to groom out all of the trails has made for some absolutely fantastic riding. I hope everyone has been able to get out and enjoy the great conditions. Over the course of the last week I have run into fellow snowmobilers, cross-country skiers, dog mushers, hikers, fat-tire mountain bikers all out enjoying the local trails.

I just want to give a shout out to all who have helped get our trails ready for the season, our groomer operators, and landowners. Between all of the equipment maintenance, trail work, administrative duties, grooming, fundraising, etc… there is a lot that goes into making this great network of trails we all enjoy. If you haven’t considered joining a local club and helping out in some way, I would ask that you reconsider. The time spent with family and friends on a sport we all love makes the ride all that much more worth it.

Even though March has delivered some epic snow storms in the past, we are nearing the backside of our riding season. Warmer temperatures are in the forecast and spring conditions will soon be here. Please keep in mind the ice will be thinning on our local ponds, water bars will be opening up and rocks will start to poke up from the snow. Stay safe and enjoy the trails
